Yael Caplan
Analyst

Yael works on several of Surgo’s programs as an analyst – providing analytic and research support to help Surgo leverage innovative new approaches and insights to solve global development challenges.

Yael initially joined Surgo as Kimpton Fellow from the University of Chicago, where she graduated in 2018 with a BA in Public Policy and Comparative Human Development. She has previously interned with the central offices of both Chicago and D.C. Public Schools as well as the Urban Education Institute where she worked on projects covering a range of topics from teacher preparation programs to teacher selection processes.
